My problem is growing with the fact that Jay seems to advertise this relationship as normal, as okay. It's not okay. It's not healthy for someone to be that involved in someone else's life.
Granted, it's not her job to raise a fandom. Jay is aware of the demographic of Louis' fans and she is aware that the demographic is the same age as some of her daughters.
So it should worry her that here is an advertised relationship that screams co-dependence. No, that's not what a healthy relationship is like. If I want to go out and get a drink without my significant other, that's normal.
If I want to rest up and get some alone time after a shitty match, that's normal. Time to self-reflect time to be an individual is normal, natural, and healthy.
"She's involved in everything" is scary and unhealthy and weird.
