FAT POST: My brother and I decided to do the San Gorgonio (highest peak in SoCal with an altitude of 11,503’) hike yesterday which was KICK🍑! Hit a couple snags along the way like: 1)not getting a permit, so couldn’t stay overnight 2)so decided to do a day hike so wouldn’t get fined 3) overshot our 2nd trail marker by at least 2 miles and had to walk back 4)Missed some switchbacks and had to hike “thru” them 5)Someone cannonballed into a rock lol. ||| Unfortunately we did not reach the summit in the amount of time and had to turn around at 14:20 (hike started at 06:35) and returned ~18:00. Our final altitude was 10,036’ and honestly, even though we didn’t go all the way, it’s okay because our pullout game is stronger than 50 shades of gray. #BrothersInArms #JackKnife #PartOfYourWorld #Switchbacks #WhenInDoubtWhipItOut #FirstBackpackingTrip (at San Gorgonio Mountain)
