In your previous post, you said that the spacenappers didn’t take Fitz to space with them because he ‘wasn’t on the list’. What do you think the list is and why isn’t Fitz on it? Do you think it has to do with what happened to him in the Framework arc last season?

Hi Everyone!  

This by far is the most popular ask I have so if i don’t have your exact one in this I’m sorry.

While we have a lot of questions still, its all stuff I’ll spend the next few weeks working through.  But one of the biggest ones will be:

Why wasn’t Fitz on this list?

Where is he now?

Why wasn’t he on the list?  Here are my early front runner options…as the dust settles and I see round tables this could change.

They are worried Fitz would help get the team out of there.  Fitz (and Simmons) did what Hydra hadn’t been able to do in thousands of years, bring someone back through the portal.  Whoever took the team might not want to risk him doing the same thing.  

Though if they underestimate Jemma’s drive to get back to him they are in for a rude awakening.

It was more a matter of separating Fitzsimmons, worried what they would do together, and needing Jemma’s skill set more than Fitz’s at that particular moment.

Fitz was used as a bargaining chip elsewhere   IE whoever took the team agreed to leave him in exchange for something or someone.  This could be any number of organizations or yes even Alistair who wanted him.

On the flip side Fitz could be the leverage to the team, he’s a prisoner back on earth and a way of trying to get them to cooperate….once they get away from the alien bug things.

Someone needed his skills.  He is now their prisoner.

 They are trying to get him to work for them, possibly by force or using team a leverage to force his hand. 

They need him preparing things on earth for ?????

 Something about the good old Descendant theory was right.

He was left on earth to take the fall for Shield.

He was simply left behind.  Now he must deal with the fall out of the Framework, find his friends, and keep ahead of those hunting Shield.

Left field not on my radar option.

As for the where?

He’s prisoner and locked away in some lab, facility, or base.  this could be another organization, military, company, or specific baddie.
