The Hubble Ultra Deep Field in 3D (by Deep Astronomy)

Astronomy has always fascinated me and is a constant humbling reminder of how insignficant Earth is in the grander scope of the observable universe.  

When I look at this video, I think How can we be so self centered to look at the teeny-tiny (in comparison) differences between ourselves and think it's enough to destroy each other over.  

We declare a neighborhood, our "territory" and don't want others to occupy space along side of us, we treat those who look differently or behave differently  as Bad, Wrong, somehow lessor than ourselves.  When you look at the bigger picture, we are one itsy bitsy planet.

 How do we rationalize our "goodness" in something as HUGE as what you see in this video into a set of simplistic rules created a relatively short while ago and say that oh by the way - after you die, if you follow these rules, you go to this other place.... well maybe not YOU because (fill in the blank)...  hmmm   I don't know....

If what the human eye observed as a space of NOTHING, in fact contained countless Galaxies, how do we think we know so much.  In my opinion, we are just babies floating in the sky and our history will come and go measured as only a blip on the time continuum.
