"What the hell...?" The spirit detective stopped in his tracks as he noticed the appearence of a young man with what appeared to have features of a demon. He appeared to be playing the violin, unaware of his presence for the time being. With a smirk, he made his way toward him, waiting for him to finish playing before he actually made his presence known.
I miss the board games and playing cah with wheresthethirdwheel. We should do that again more often!!!

wheresthethirdwheel
After receiving a go-ahead to hang around, Killua set about to exploring the Ants' palace. He didn't find anything worthy of note at first — sure, the decor was fancy and generally fairly tasteful, but that was leftover from East Gorteau's previous dictator and nothing he couldn't see somewhere else. In general, it just seemed like too large a space for the few inhabitants it had, which made it feel both empty and terribly boring.
Killua was just preparing to leave when a deliciously scent wafted through the air and caught his attention. This was unmistakably chocolate — really good chocolate, probably some sort of pastry. Naturally, he had to check that out.
Following the smell of mouthwatering chocolate, Killua soon found his way to a spacious kitchen where a large chocolate cake was sitting on the counter, looking fresh and perfectly inviting. It looked and smelled so good, and just looking at it made him hungry. There was only a moment's hesitation before Killua cast a quick look around and darted inside, unable to keep himself from at least taking a closer look.
Of course, 'taking a closer look' soon led to him digging a fork into the cake and helping himself to a big slice. Surely the ants wouldn't mind if he took a little bit of their food! And if they did, well, he'll cross that bridge later.

A bitter taste filled his mouth again and he frowned. 'Best to walk away now' he thought, turning on his heel and hoping that the cat didn't see him.
From what Killua said, Pitou was actually pretty reasonable. He couldn't exactly figure out how, or really why Killua would say something like that about it, but it didn't change that he was still a bit bitter about it. Even though all of it had been done, Kite wasn't dead, he wasn't dead, and she wasn't dead, and there wasn't anything to be bitter about, her eyes still made his stomach flip and see red on the edges of his vision.
Who knows, though. That might change. But still, he wasn't quite sure if he wanted to have a civil conversation with any of the royal ants.
