Why did we ever stop celebrating Twelfth Night? Like hello? The Twelve days of Christmas? We still sing the song but we don't actually observe the tradition? As someone who always gets post-holiday blues, I think celebrating Christmas as a twelve day festival instead of one single day makes total sense and we need to return to it immediately. And New Years gets to exist right in the middle of it all! Capitalism doesn't want us to have all those days off work. I know that's it. But why not have a celebration with further debauchery and fun a few days after New Years Eve? Start your New Year off RIGHT by partying MORE! And enjoy the Christmas spirit for longer!!!! Come onnnnnnnnnnn!!
