A day at Olive Ateliers
Some things in life strike a chord deep within us—like a song that instantly transports you, or a place that feels like it’s always been waiting for you. That same magic happens in design. Every so often, you come across a creative voice so fearless, so whimsical, so utterly original, that it lingers with you.
That was my reaction when I first discovered @summerthorntondesign. Her interiors are vibrant, layered, and dreamlike—spaces that don’t just look styled, they feel alive. The way she curates bold colors and unexpected pairings is unapologetically fearless, reminding us that design can be both elevated and soulful, while still being playful.
When design has the power to make us pause and feel, it deserves to be shared. While I may not be the first to celebrate her work, I believe inspiration is meant to ripple outward—inviting others to see the beauty and creativity that stirs us to think differently about our own homes.
