Julia was sitting on a bench in the middle of Reign Park, fingers tapping nervously against her thigh. Checking her phone revealed that it was now a few minutes past three and for a moment, she wondered if Mason had changed his mind. Never in a million years, would Julia have guessed that she would be getting the chance to reunite with Poppy. In the time she had dated Mason, her and Poppy had developed a bond and Julia had grown to love her like her own. Aside from losing Mason, losing her had been the most painful thing Julia had ever gone through. She still wasn’t sure how she felt about Mason being back, confused for sure, but she didn’t know what that confusion meant. She hoped today’s meeting would help clear her head. With a sigh, Julia glanced up and felt her heart stop. There they were. Mason and Poppy. She stood up almost immediately, feeling her heart rush but her eyes were first only on his daughter. He hadn’t been joking - she had sprouted! She had grown so much from the young girl she had been a part of for three years. “Poppy?!”
