This was... embarrassing, but even Dio was aware the stupid American holiday was about being grateful for friends and family. And it wasn’t exactly a secret anymore that Dio loved his friends like they were family.

She’s just hanging out as Peridot wraps up closing. Ryuko didn’t need to stay this late, but she just wanted to talk to her about... something.

“So,” she begins, finally. “I, uh, heard through the grapevine you and your buddies met my sister. How’d that go? What’d you think of her?” She hadn’t even met her yet, and she was curious if what she’d heard was true--the Satsuki here is from after they’ve defeated their mother.
