Darkness falls fast in the #ozarkmountains . After taking the bottom photo of #whitakerpoint aka #hawksbillcrag I got lost in the woods with no cell service. I'm ok now. But I panicked briefly. Foggy morning at #hawksbillcrag and #whitakerpoint. It was dark when I left the trailhead. I hiked to this spot with my headlamp on. After I set up, two hikers came down the trail and scoped the view with me. They asked if it would screw up my shot if they went out on the point. "It'll make it better," I said, "go right ahead." I wasn't the only one diggin' the sunrise at #hawksbillcrag and #whitakerpoint. Right after I packed up my gear to hit the trail a photographer with the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism greeted me and took my spot. He was laden with gear and had two cameras with big lenses hanging from his neck.
