alright tv this time. what r your top 10 shows or ones youd be inclined to include in such a list?
Once again, there are sooo many, so once again I am going to restrict it to shows that have a decent amount of whump (which means some pretty heart-breaking exclusions hahaha but I have to be able to narrow it down somewhat or it's too hard 😂)

~Slow Horses (this is my absolute fave right now, it's become somewhat of a hyperfixation--to give you an idea, I have watched the first three seasons, like, six times at least just since late 2023, as well as binge listening to all of the audiobooks, the short story collection, and another book that is part of the universe but not directly Slow Horses. I love it so much.)
~Firefly (I love space crews, and the Serenity has one of my faves)
~The Last Kingdom (this one definitely gets pretty heavy but it is so good, and has some very badass women, and some of my favorite male friendships of all time. So many forehead touches!)
~911 (yeaaah, this one. This show. It's definitely a bit of a love/hate relationship, with most of the love coming from my attachment to the characters. But I gotta include it. Cus Oliver is amazing and Buck is my lil guy.)
~The Brothers Sun (I will never not be mad at Netflix for cancelling this after one season!!!!!! It's soooo good! The effed up family dynamics, literally everything about Charles, Michelle Yeoh being amazing as always, my favorite random lil Indonesian actor popping up for a few episodes...I love it)
~Limitless (so many one-season wonders on this list, I'm making myself sad. I LOVE this show, it's got good angst and whump and action, but also is genuinely just so fun, and pretty optimistic? Comfort show of all time!)
~The Tourist (this show is kind of a weird one, and I was so taken off guard by how much I actually ended up enjoying it! It's another one that gets fairly heavy but mannn it surprised me a lot and not many people seem to know about it which is a shame!)
~Emergency! (I loved watching reruns of this after school, and have recently been doing a rewatch. There are for sure some things that haven't aged great, but it was also ahead of its time on a lot of things! I also love how much attention is paid to the little details; it makes it feel really grounded.)
~Horatio Hornblower (look I think this is technically a series of tv movies but I don't care hahaha, it's so good and young Ioan is so dreamy!)
~Teen Wolf (but specifically the first three seasons, which I rewatch frequently because they are so good; I had to include this purely because it spawned my insanest fic ever where I decided to write a whumpy standalone chapter for every letter of the alphabet. First chapter was published in 2014. The last one I posted, for the letter T, was posted in 2023. I have V written. I'm stuck on U (lmao) and then have no idea what to do for the rest hahahaha)
