“It’s just a show” yeah a show that cost 1 billion dollars to make yet has a 1/4 of the hardwork and heart the original trilogy had while also looking cheap as fuck? The amount of shirts and chain patterned under armor I have been seeing shows me the people who worked on it didn’t give a fuck past making the aesthetic passable to anyone vaguely aware of Tolkien. Yes, Tolkien isn’t perfect and deserves criticisms, but don’t use that excuse to validate how they butchered fucking everything
