#why the hate

I'm feeling like tumblr is my only safe haven besides ao3 and pinterest atm. Why is there so much hate in every online wbk community? Hate on the characters, hate on the show, hate on fans of characters, hate on nii-sensei for no fucking reason. I need everyone to just love wind breaker, to understand the layers characters have, to discuss things, to theorize. Just like happens on tumblr.

i feel like people are just trying to hate the Odyssey.

First off acting like Christopher Nolan is a bad director. You really about to doubt his cinematography?

Then you go over to "its not accurate" so monsters are real, but a character being black is too far out their? but then those people ultimately are the racist type.

Now the environment al issues are somewhat concerning, but I can only really find one article and even then it doesn't go back to Christopher Nolan but a group he worked with.

And then there was the complaints about Christopher Nolan reshooting because of a rainbow and a bunch of misinformation around it.

I see no real reason for people to try and hate on this movie.

I havent even seen it so I don't know if it's good or not! But all these reasons for why it sucks are genuinely bad faith

Like what are people smokin that makes people killers of joy.

If there's a reason please tell me.

Am I the only one happy with the finale?

I see hate here, pissed offness there. Both my favorite ship (Mileven fans) and the rival ship that I'm indifferent to (Byler fans) hating. I felt the ending was personally bittersweet and sad but that's what made it perfect to me. El is somewhere out there safe and sound. Will gets an epilog bf. The ending was straight up hype but I ain't seeing any hype or happiness and I'm wondering "Did we watch the same fucking finale?". A finale where they went up against the two biggest threats of the series and finally took them down. A finale where we see whete psychics come from? A death scene that felt unhinged?? Yeah I've seen the plot holes but not everything is perfect to a T this felt Stranger Things perfect at least imo. Tell me of you agree or disagree and why

Toxic fandom ship war rant

Look, I understand people's preferences in ships, I really do. But what I hate, what people NEED to stop doing, is biting the heads off of those who don't share their opinions. Prime example is The Flash. Some people are on Team Snowbarry (including yours truly) while others are Team WestAlllen. Pro-Snowbarry team is like "Barry has ZERO chemistry with Iris" etc. but that's it. That's where it (mostly) ends. But the Pro-WestAllen are all like "TF is wrong with you they do have chemistry have your mental status checked yadda yadda yadda" like dude, seriously? It's called "opinion" for a reason. Another one is Jeid. Same problem: Pros (like me) are just like "they look so cute together we wish they were canon" then all the antis are like "NO. STOP SHIPPING THEM. SHIP THEM AND WE'LL END YOU." Again in Stranger Things. Ronance vs. Steddie? The amount of toxicity (mostly on Team Steddies end) is ASTRONOMICAL.

Apparently, people don't like (hate) sparkling water??? That seems so strange to me as someone who drinks it religiously. (I'm not kidding I get four cases every time I go grocery shopping.) So uhm. . . I'm curious, because it really is just like sugar-free soda, so why the hate?
