The exaggerated map of the Biella city which we are staring at, inspired by Kazimir Malevich ‘s design perception.

He usually used the idea of non-limited attitude with a great connection with each other on canvas, just like a surface of the world that we are living in. Despite processing abstract themes, it reveals the figurative meanings of objects and forms.

By using these two objects side by side, it was aimed to emphasize and reflect how similar the subject was to the main idea. Figures and forms are following each other in a perfect system to observe the idea, just like a mobility should be in a city scale.

What is sustainability for you?

Basically the sustainability comes from the mother nature to remain forever and to seek for eternity. the general meaning of renewal for survival.

On our professional aspects it has a triple bottom line noted as 3BL : the Environment ( ecological part ) , the Profit ( the financial part ) and the Social ( community part ) , if we manage to play on these three pillars with the same tone we can achieve it

finally let’s not neglect that the sustainability  could be a double edged weapon, we could sustain and renew our resources or to sustain our wasting of them.

Why sustainability? It is deemed to be the bridge between the nature/ the environment and human life. Nowadays, we encounter the lack of implacable resources like oil and fossil fuels and so forth, which endanger the future for next generations. In order to address this problem, sustainability not only in architecture but also in wide array of different fields has always been the center of attention. This is an irrefutable fact that the major problem of the old architectural method was that energy had been wasted a lot. However, with the advent of sustainable projects, this trend has been significantly altered in which now we are able to save energy by using sustainable design. In these projects the different type of energy consumption in many construction systems, like heating and cooling systems has been decreased. Moreover, sustainability expands our horizons to use natural systems for heating and cooling like heat recovery as well as cross ventilation respectively. Constructing with low prices has always been considered a goal in every project and from this perspective sustainable design has revolutionized the construction industry. These days, most low-prices buildings have been built by utilizing sustainable design which can benefit both constructors and clients. In conclusion, sustainability not only does it make our building projects environmental friendly and more efficient, but also it leads to the secure future as the energy will no longer be a perennial problem for next generations.

Sustainability for me has several means. Actually, our design should be friendly with environment and does not bad effect on that is the main thing that I should follow in my design as an architecture. Sustainability following three foundations that I try to observe, they are inspired from nature, environmentally friendly, humane design. First, inspire from the nature to build and design to protect environment and make maximum use of natural resources without damaging nature like optimal energy and water consumption. Second, natural friendly design is the way to save environment resources and recycled materials which are the used to build and even our design can be help to nature and add some plants to empty area or creating green place. Third, humane design is the most important thing in design because we should be careful we could not victim resident comfortable to green design, it should be had balance between each other it means we could enter part of environment in our living area, or we can be part of nature but it cannot disrupt our routine life. Modern society and nature should have good coexist with each other. However, it is important to protect the environment as protect as human during all the time.

What is sustainability for you?

Sustainable development can meet current needs without affecting future generations, and this approach can be applied to a series of systems, such as a community, starting from a small system (such as a building) and then reflected in the relationship of the entire city. This is a question of enabling environmental and social behavior to achieve its stable development. Therefore, sustainable design looks to the future, to meet the needs of future cities and construction projects, to design in a sustainable way, to optimize natural resources, and to build in a way that reduces the impact of buildings and their residents on the building.
