"Ellie," the Doctor murmured, smirking a little at her as his hand captured one of her wrists, pulling her closer to him so he could kiss her. "Guess what? I've got plans for you tonight," he teased, surprisingly boldly - something he never usually was. But, he had to admit, his mind had been filled with thoughts of her all day, maddening him and driving him to a point where he wanted to be bold about things, tell her words that he never usually would, take control and for once, maybe he'd actually be the boss. 

Because usually - and this was in every single aspect of their life - she was in charge, and that was something he didn't mind. In fact, that was one of the things he loved most about her. But then, some days could be different... right? And today was one of those days.
