“A Wicked War: The 1846 U.S. Invasion of Mexico” Lecture by Amy Greenberg of Penn State Wednesday, February 15, at 4:15 p.m.
Amy S. Greenberg, Professor of History and Women's Studies at Pennsylvania State University, is interested in the transformation of gender roles in American culture, American imperialism and territorial expansion, and the relationship between the U.S. and the wider world in the decades before the Civil War.
Prof. Greenberg comes to Reed as 2016–2017 Wallace T. MacCaffrey Lecturer, sponsored by the history department. Free and open to the public.
