contrary to what some seemed to think, magic wasn’t an exact science. at least, voodoo magic sure wasn’t, and a lot of the time, opal found herself improvising. one day, she hoped the magic stuff would come as naturally to her as it did to her mom, but for now, she was more or less stuck experimenting. she turned to the purple-haired girl as if her question was the most normal thing she could ask. “how many cups of sugar does it take to get to the moon? three is probably too few but ten seems a bit overkill, don’t you think??”

it taken a few days but amaris had sought out his mother to ask if she had any information on the weather events occurring in auradon. if anyone would know it would be the goddess of the moon. unfortunately, she was persistant on staying out of human affairs, but she had given him a small clue that may amount to nothing but he wanted to do his duty and report it anyways. “hello, lady mal.” he greeted the young woman, figuring a short meeting with her was better than taking up more of the king’s time and he preferred the information he had be given to someone personally sympathetic to the vks’ side.

snow white will open the door to the front of her mansion to find the much expected mal , though there’s a slight disapproving look when she sees how thin the girl’s jacket is . “ hmmm , we’re going to have get you a thicker coat , gem . it’s winter weather , you’ve got to dress like it . ” and as she says these words , she ushers the younger girl in , closing the door behind her . “ lets get it off you for now , though . are you hungry ? thirsty ? ” lord , she’s ALREADY treating her like she’s had her since birth . “ mal - are you getting enough sleep ? do i need to talk to the royal advisors about free time ? those types always tend to forget about that ... ”

something of a coo escapes her lips , as if she’s looking at a BABY when lalli’s eyes fall on the beauty known as mal . perhaps the blonde had fallen to the side of auradon ; but with the ( surely valid ) MOMMY ISSUES that mal had , citlalli could unfortunately relate . “ love , i understand you’re POWERFUL - but i don’t think that means it’s safe to out here this late , alone . ” she aims to come off as non-threatening , though she’s not so sure it works . “ you are mal , correct ? met your horror of a mother the other day , and this is coming from ME ; i’m thinking we should start a club . ”

pixie gulps , she doesn’t SEE RED when ben kisses mal , but tinkerbell is clearly not happy about the scene upon her . she’s confused ; she’s ONLY felt this way when she saw peter with wendy ... so ... what does that leave for her ? she hates people in relationships ? scowl’s on her face , tinkerbell can’t hide it BUT both are too busy to pay attention to her anyways . of course , she’ll hide that scowl as the two pull away , she grinning widely . “ you ready to go , mal ? i heard the food there is amazing ! ” tinkerbell , the master of hiding everything behind a smile . @wickedlyevil !
small pixie is excited , in her slender fingers holds the RING mal had given her permission to ... modify . in retrospect , it’s amazing ! with a little of late nights and hard work - she’d finally managed to make it so that it would fit mal’s finger PERFECTLY ; no longer would it slip around during sleep , or become warningly loose in the water . with a fair amount of TINKERING & FAIRY DUST , she made it so that it would tighten the perfect amount around mal’s fingers . it just ... looked like it had been worked on ; a bit RUSTIC , if she were to say so herself . “ mal ! ” she’ll bound into the other’s room , grateful that no one else is there . “ i’ve got your ring ! ” @wickedlyevil knows what this is !
