Placed around six years prior to beginning of story. Mikey has trained under Draxum enough that the goatman decided he has “graduated” and he’s basically earned(/been voluntold) being a teaching assistant at a school for the mystic arts in the hidden city. He’ll be working with the younger students. Draxum basically sees it as socialization. And to force him to use what he’s been taught to teach younger kids and get him more accustomed to constant minor usage of mystics. (Click for better quality)

Literally my first time ever drawing April aside for the paper I originally drew this on. Messy hair is just supposed to show that she’s exhausted. During this time she’d be working on her final thesis in college or something, so she’s out of it. Wasn’t really sure how else to convey that other than just saying it.

The thing to understand with this, is that Raph doesn't really see the world quite right, part of it is becaus eif his eye. And this is the best way i can artistically show that. Click for better quality.

This is from around the same time as the Donnie one i posted. Raph, in the AU, has really taken to gardening in his younger brother's absensce. It's soemthign he can take care of and protect. Something he can see and is tangible, and he knows when he needs to help it.

Ik i said i only really had scaffolding for this au, but the truth is i have the entire beginning completely planned out. I wasnt lying when i said its not somehtign i can do easily, though, so itll all just look kinda bum in my opinion.
