“You know what? It’s really rude to stare. I would really appreciate it if you’d just tell me if there’s something on my face or something.” Lothaire was perhaps a little too insecure at the moment, glancing across the table at Azhekh as they drank their wine together. He usually didn't mind all of those eyes looking at him, but the stare was getting a little spooky, even for a demon. "Am I so hideous you cannot look away? Is there something behind me? Did I spill on myself?"
The king couldn’t and wouldn’t deny that he was staring, but he hadn’t thought that perhaps it might be rude to do so. He and Lothaire were friends after all, weren’t they? But apparently he had watched him a bit too closely and made him uncomfortable, an act he was quick to apologize for even if he did laugh a bit doing so. “Ah, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to unnerve you.” He said, shaking his head to dismiss the notion that there was something wrong. “And no to all of those things. To me, people are like an art gallery; some more visually appealing than others, while some take a special eye to appreciate and understand. I happen to have seven special eyes and know a masterpiece when I see one.” He answered, three eyes closing in a brief wink.
