Yelena Belova in Widowmakers: Red Guardian and Yelena Belova oneshot (2020) 2/ 2
Black Widow by Jeffrey Veregge
I figured out the date!!!
I’ve been trying to figure out the release date for this comic and (after several horribly written articles) I figured out it’s April 29th!
This is a new comic that’s going to involve Yelena Belova and Alexei Shoskatov crossing paths for the first time.
I’ll warn you right now, based on the description and author, this will NOT be the same dynamic as the MCU.
If you want to read it, I definitely recommend reading the following first:
Pale Little Spider (Yelena’s origin story)
Itsy Bitsy Spider (Yelena and Natasha first meet. Natasha uses her history with Alexei to try and persuade Yelena to leave the Red Room)
Breakdown (Natasha tries again, this time in a crueler way, to change Yelena)
Widowmaker (Definitely read this one. Alexei’s motivations in the new comic are explained in this one)
If you’re interested in reading any of the comics, let me know, and I’ll try and find you some links!
(Tagging people I know tend to be interested in comics)

Widowmakers: Red Guardian & Yelena Belova by Devin Grayson and Michele Bandini. Cover by Mike McKone. Out in April.
Widow makers, widow makers everywhere you turn. I hear trees cracking against the wind in the distance, maybe breaking, like this one recently did. #widowmakers #safetyfirst Always be aware of the standing dead wood around you. Aspen topple easily in a wind. Gonna have lots of dead fall to build a nice sturdy shelter from though. #bushcrafting #bushcraft #hiking #hikingsafetytips #hikingsafety #saskatchewan #canada #prairiefirebushcraft. Coming from someone who's been playing overwatch since it came out, trust me, your beginnings of hating widowmaker are not unfounded, it gets really old having to deal with people playing solo and then getting mad at the remaining 5 players for not being able to cover them, there's only so far "skill" can go in a team based game
I had a widowmaker who literally yelled at her team in chat, saying “wow my team sucks, this is the fourth time I’ve gotten into a shit game with a shit team.”
I had to respond, I said, “So switch off widowmaker, get on the frontline.”
And she literally says, “I don’t see why I have to change just cuz my team sucks.”
And I’m like, “Then stop bitching.”
Like seriously, if you’re going to look for headshots and just hang back trying to chip off damage instead of actually helping your team, then don’t bitch about how your team’s not “supporting” you.
YOU.
ARE NOT.
SUPPORTING.
YOUR TEAM.
