Miyako has a variety of objects that hold an immense amount of sentimental value for her. A majority of these are gifts she got from other people or objects she acquired in the presence of other people. This sentimental value is precisely what makes her cherish them so much. Some of her most prized possessions include a variety of astronomical texts given to her by her parents right before she went to the Academy, a motley of jewelry Kaien gave her, and several gifts given to her by members of the Thirteenth.

Miyako’s idea of a perfect date would probably be something like going to a museum or a festival. She likes dates where the focus isn’t so much on the romantic aspect of the date as it is on the activity itself. She feels much more comfortable when there is something she can do and talk about that doesn’t relate to the fact that she’s on a date.
