“Here’s another flight level that I like, even tho it took me a good amount of tries to beat it. It may be a hard one, but I like the layout of it and the cool places it has.”

The fourth of five pics revolving around YGO and the Flight levels in Spyro 1. This one involves Katsuya Jounouchi / Joey Wheeler alongside Wild Flight.
Wild Flight is the fourth Flight in the game, being located in Beast Makers, and can either be accessed second, third or fourth depending on how you play the game.
I shall say this now - Wild Flight and Icy Flight share very similar themes (smiles for Puppyshippers!) so if you’ve heard one then you’ll recognise some parts in the other. The music for this rather tricky level gives off a hip, cool vibe complete with electric guitars, the classic organ and a steady beat to groove to. I can totally see Joey grooving to this track!
In terms of the level itself ... let’s just say a bit of luck is needed to finish the course sometimes. Spyro has to fly close to the water a lot of the time and the boats can get bunched up if the timing isn’t right ... no wonder this was the last Flight level I finished in my first 100% run. Wild Flight certainly isn’t dull, though; bright greens from the grass and crystals as well as the industrial look brought to the Beast Makers and the crystal blue water make this one of the nicest spots in the swamp. And let’s face it; if Joey lived in the Dragon realms he could be either a Peace Keeper or Beast Maker.
Wild Flight is known as Wild Sky (ワイルド スカイ) in Japan.
Enjoy!
