Wild Pet

If I were to have a dream pet that's a wild animal, I would like to have a pet otter because I find them so cute and playful. They're noted for their upbeat spirits and fondness for water. I can just imagine how much fun we could have playing and swimming together. However, keep in mind that otters have particular demands and an excessive amount of love and care, making them not the simplest pets to care for.

Time to Play Catch Up

It has been a nice long relaxing weekend for me...well not really relaxing. I really did little in the way of relaxation, but I have had a nice four day weekend. :)

On Friday, I cleaned my carpets. I will spare you any pictures, but let's just say that three dogs, a cat, a husband and miscellaneous nieces, nephews and myself made my floors nasty like none other. I rented a carpet cleaner from Lowes and went over the living room carpet twice and it was still coming out dirty. Ewwww. My carpet almost looks brand new. 

I spent Saturday at a family reunion and then went to my favorite outdoor bar. The family reunion, was well...family. The bar, it was pretty awesome. People can bring their pets and they have over-sized board games to play. This one lady brought her pet fox. Yes...pet fox. It is illegal in the U.S. to have one as a pet, but because this fox was from Europe it was okay? I dunno. ???

And on Sunday, we got new furniture! I am so excited. My old couch was honestly coming apart at the seams. We got a great deal on it and it looks good in the living room. I had owned the previous set since a year or two after I graduated college. It was well loved. 

Will I be able to keep the dogs off it? I seriously doubt it. They are spoiled. 

Now, today I am off again and I have already worked out and am ready to see where the day takes me. Nothing planned, but enjoying a sunny day to myself !
