jb and hyperactive!reader own a surf shop in obx. she’s still painting and sells them to kooks around the obx. sometimes a tourist would buy her whole collection and brings it to the mainland. she has a whole exhibit in an local art museum and talks about it all the time not cause she’s bragging she’s just excited. they got married by the time they were twenty. they have two boys and john teaches them how to surf and reader teaches them how to paint. john learns spanish so he can help reader teach their sons how to speak it. kids favorites are uncle jj and titi cleo cause she teaches them cool knife tricks.

jj and bestfriend!reader own the mechanic shop that her father used to own. she runs finances and he does the dirty work. she convinces him to help boys that has the same background as him and they work there. helps them with colleges and gives back to the new set pogues. never got officially married but she’s still called mrs maybank. they have three kids but they joke they had more. two boys and one girl who’s the middle child. lives in a house that’s near figure eight muchbto the delight of jj. the kids favorites are titi sarah cause they get the coolest stuff and uncle pope who tells them stories of their dad in his youth.

rafe takes over ward’s business and sweetheartkook!reader ends up opening a spa. it’s high luxury but she upcharges kooks and down charges pogues. no one complains though and no one allowed to talk about pricing. she made him wait till she’s out of college to get married. they live in tannyhill and have six kids by “accident”. five girls and the youngest is a boy. rafe really has his hands full with the girls. they have a vacation home in cuba or brazil or puerto rico or mexico or whatever country the reader’s family is originally from. reader makes rafe reopen the turtle habitat. favorite aunt is wheezie cause duh.

pope took over for the corner and wildchild!reader is a teacher for the younger kids. she’s now teaching pouges not kooks and yes she all the kids were in her classroom at one point. got married right after college but didn’t tell anyone for a year. they live near his parents so they could see their grandchildren. they end up having four kids which suprised everyone. smart as hell like their dad but reckless like their mom. two girls two boys. the kids favorite uncle is jb cause he’s laidback and titi kie cause she kidnaps to go save turtles and protests.

wildchild!reader being her coded by chase atlantic does something to me. like she only used to fuck kooks cause they didn’t want to be associated with her but word got around and everyone thought she was just in it for the money. she gives pope the best day in his life and he was ready to never hear from her again. that’s what happens to every boy she was with until she needed something again.

party girl who fucked around was how the whole island knew her and then pope saw her at the library, trying to get her favorite book and he reads it just so he can know why she wants to read it. she was supposed to be heartless why she’s reading romance? about found family?

pope was always interested in her. jj and kie talked about how flirty she was. sarah said how she was starting to leave kelce house at night. john b said he always sees her leaving with a kook at the end of the night.

but she gets the best grades. they have the same english class and she always gets the highest grade in there for her writing. she’s the sweetest to kids. he saw her interact with her younger brother in his dad’s store, kids around the neighborhood, and the kids she babysit. she charmed his dad. his dad always mentioned how nice she was and respectful unlike his friends.

she was living a double life and it seems like pope was the only one who noticed. he wants to figure her out but she was so closed off from people.

when he came up with the plan to talk to her, he thought it was gonna end in disaster and she’ll ignore him. it was the best day he had instead. she sat next to him and they talked about books they like and didn’t like and why she favored that series so much. she already the book he was actually reading at that moment and they turned out to be fans of a sci-fi series.

she was funny and very insightful. he wondered why other people haven’t noticed that yet. he didn’t expect her to sit next to him the next week or going to him and staying with him at the keggers even after kelce and all her other usual hookups try to get her attention. she was cold to everyone who approached them when they were together and warm instantly back up when they were alone again.

even when they started dating he was waiting for her to bolt everyday and was counting each day with her as a blessing. that changed the day she told him she loved him and decided she was going to the same college together.

thinking of the boy’s first date with reader

jb and hyperactive!reader first date was at the fair that came on the island every summer. perfect way to they played games and went on rides. she took pictures of him and pictures of the stuff animals he won for her. he waited until it was almost sunset to take her on the ferris wheel. he didn’t kiss her until they were all the way on the top. he’s a romantic at heart after all.

jj and bestfriend!reader has a surf date then a movie night. she knows how to surf but she’s not as good as him. he teaches her tricks the entire time and helps her to it’s her technique. after surfing they to the wreck and grab food before they end the night at her house watching her favorite movies like the clockwork orange, four brothers, and the exorcist with her favorite snack.

rafe sets up a movie night on the beach for sweetheartkook!reader. she only agreed to go with him if it wasn’t so expensive. she wanted him to put effort. she can take herself to a fancy ass restaurant. he hired someone to do everything for him but she still loved it. they watched anybody but you and he ordered food to be delivered and made sure it’s her favorite. it was perfect and he got a second date.

pope and wildchild!reader didn’t really go on a first date. they kept meeting up at the library for months to talk about the books they both liked. she showed up at his house one day though and they hung out there for the day. they watched movies and talked about books like they normally do. when it was getting late, she straddled him, kissed him, told him it was about time he made a move, and then left.

pope reading wildchild!reader her favorite series is the reason she feel for him in the first place. like she tried doing more with her hookups and they just ended up using her. it came to the point where she would just leave her flings in the middle of the night and only hit them up when she wanted them. then there’s pope who she only says one word too and he picked up her favorite series and asked a question about it. she’s a bit taken aback but they get to talking. she goes up to him at keggers and they talk more. she ghosts her flings cause there’s a great guy in front of her who’s actually interested in her and not her body. he’s taking his time and she appreciates it but at the same time, enough is enough and she wants him so she comes over his house and kisses him and tells him to make a move before walking away.

she loves pink. she experiments on herself a lot and her favorite shapes are square and stilettos. her nails are long as possible cause she’s still a pampered girl.

thinking of pope and wildchild!reader first starting to talk

after wildchild basically pushes him out her way to get the next book, pope will look at the book she grabbed saw it was a series and grabbed it all. devil night series. it was a easy read and he finished the whole series in two nights. he sees her two weeks later and moves out her way. she’s grabbing the last book and he looks over at her. “in your opinion who do you think is worse: trevor or martin?” “martin.” she replied without question and then looks over at him. “you read these kind of books?” and he shrugs, looking down at the book he’s reading. “wanted a excuse to talk to you.” she sits next to him and looks at the book he’s reading. “the great gatsby? have you read it before?” he shakes his head and smiles. “find me when you finsihed. we can talk about that book together, too.”
