Well... yes and no... it is absolutely a species of Castilleja - commonly called “Indian Paintbrushes”... but, which one... is a lot harder to tell. I can narrow it for you... it looks like these are the likely candidates... Castilleja chromosa, Castilleja linariifolia, Castilleja miniata, Castilleja scabrida... hope this helps!!
