Inspired by @pnweingart's amazing photo featured on @wildlifeplanet a few days ago. I did a little digital art rendering of it in Artflow. The full flat brush gave me the perfect texture to use for the fur/spots, and the airbrush made perfect, fluffy clouds! I haven't been doing as much art lately, as it's been a tough week. I was recently diagnosed with interstitial cystitis, which is a bladder condition, and I'm currently in treatment for bipolar disorder, which started yesterday. It's a lot of news at once, but painting this leopard provided some much needed art therapy. The big cat, all powerful and watching over its kingdom with a look of calm and solace represents my desire to oversee these challenges and face them head on. Keeping a positive mindset is important right now, and my usage of vivid and bright colours in this piece helps bring those positive thoughts to my mind.
