Day1: What energy should I leave behind this solstice, and what energy should I bring in? (With a bonus card in the middle! Yay for jumpers) 

What energy should I leave behind: The turtle is grounded and at home in his shell, and while his shell may hold many stories, it can also be a place where he can hoard things that no longer serve him. Its weight can trap him down and slow him to a halt. This is the energy that I need to leave behind during this solstice. I have a habit of not necessarily hoarding, but staying where I feel safe and comfortable. It’s time for adventures. 

What energy should I bring in: The dragon sees everything, he’s observant, courageous, and transformative. I need to bring this realness to my life. The dragon knows exactly who he is, he has no secrets with himself and he knows his true spirit. I need to look deep within myself, bring in that transformative energy, and meet my true soul. 

Bonus card: The cobra represents a spiritual teacher or guardian. He hovers and watches, loving and protecting every step of the way. Knowledge is infinite, there is always something to learn. I think he’s appearing to tell me that some really big lessons lie in this challenge, and I’m excited to learn!

This evening, I asked the cards "What part of myself did I embrace today?" I drew the Dragon from The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit deck. The Dragon sees everything in its entirely. It sees with its whole spirit and its eyes are drwn towards the beauty in the world. It looks to the beauty and is sustained by it. This evening, I asked the cards "During this full moon, what do I need to let go of? I drew The Devil. He represents negativity and the attachments that that I have towards self-hate and self depreciation. I need to let go of the idea that I'm not worthy of self love. I also asked the cards "As I let go of self hate and negativity, what do I welcome in?" I drew the Crow from The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit deck. The Crow represents the spiritual journey and the connection that I have to Spirit.
