SLYTHERIN:
"WILL STACKS: See, you gotta play the cards that you've been dealt. No matter how bad the cards are. ANNIE: What if you don't have any cards? WILL STACKS: Then you bluff."
--Will Gluck + Aline Brosh McKenna (Annie)
Escena de la película Annie ^^ ^^ ^^
BONUS:
I’m watching Annie (2014) and Will Stacks, the tech mogul running for mayor just said he wants to make the city ‘great again’ and this was before the Trump era and I am concerned....
So I have this thought after watching the opening scene from the 2014 reboot: what if the “Annie” in the film who happened to be Annie Bennett-Stacks’ classmate is the original comic strip Annie? The comics had her age as slowly as possible so she would be a child or teenager regardless, and she had appeared as recently as in 2014-15 when she became a supporting character in Dick Tracy. Let’s just say that Wallis!Annie had a remarkably similar Cinderella story as the redhead.
so maybe now it’s time, and maybe when I wake, they’ll be there calling me ‘baby’, maybe.
See, you gotta play the cards that you've been dealt. No matter how bad the cards are.
