He was surprised he was standing on his own two feet at the end of this aisle. He was feeling queasy as his nerves ate at his sanity. Who knew Will Belmont would ever get married? He wasn’t worried about the on coming divorce as they had an iron-clad prenup set up already. But to be married at all, that wasn’t something he anticipated. The plan originally was just for him to introduce his fake wife to his grandmother so that he could be allowed access to his trust fund once more. But his grandmother had demanded that they throw a wedding celebration that she would be present in to see her grandson be wed.
Everyone was invited. Everyone he knew was here. What lie he intended to convince his grandmother and his family, he now had to prove to the world. He would have to actually have to marry Flossie. Of course, what he didn’t know was that his grandmother was aware of the dumb ploy that he had, intended to teach him a lesson and now Flossie was in on it. Flossie’s family were all hired actors. But to William, this wedding was very much real. And they played the tune of what felt like his doom as the wedding march began, and his bride was to enter the church at any moment.
