I wish he’d apologize but I don’t belive in cancel culture especially over (1) mistake that was done almost two years ago.
He was 16 and as a 16 year old myself I hear boys throw that word around everyday, it’s like being gay is this disgusting thing they shame each other for. A 16 year old just follows the group and in the past two year I think he has grown a lot. I obviously don’t think he’s homophobic or anything like that It’s okay for that to hit you hard, it hit me hard, it hit me very hard but hate is never the way. Teach if you want to kindly call him out do but attacking someone will never make them understand.
I truly belive he is not the same person he was at the time and I can’t be a hypocrite and act like I’ve never said anything controversial in my past. But just as I’m sure he has, Ive grown and I am not that person anymore.
