OUR FATHERS CLAD IN RED CHAPTER XIV by me & @gwenllian-in-the-abbey
🚨 NEWS: Tumbleton, Rook's Rest and Kingsroad Filming in July 🚨
First Battle of Tumbleton will be the closing battle of season 3.
Kingsroad filming could be about Jaehaera being smuggled out by Ser Willis Fell (and Rickard Thorne?).
Burial at Rook's Rest could be for Rhaenys and Meleys, whose remains are still there.
A scene to do with Sunfyre could also be filmed at Rook's Rest set. 👀🔥
The false knight
Willis Fell swore with his life that he would bring the little princess Jaehaera, safe and sound to Storm's end. He succeeded in his mission, and stood by her side the whole time, fearing that the grip of her little hand would fade so easily in the wind. Fearing that the hunters would take her away, fearing the inclement weather of the nights or the stares they would get as they made their way to Storm's end. It was hard, it was especially hard to get the princess to stop crying all the time, but it was even harder to make her laugh with the stories of knights that were told to him when he was little. Even upon arriving at the huge castle, Fell found it hard not to keep an eye on her at all hours. Fearing that the edge of death would take her and thus his life.
The war ceased, and with it the danger. So he thought. The little princess who had clung to his armor for protection wept and panicked at all that lay before her in King's Landing. However, he stood by her side, guarding her just like a watchdog.
The girl, only 10 years old, married her cousin Aegon iii, and he was promoted to commander of the Kingsguard. It was an honor when he was appointed, and a shame to have to explain to the little Queen that he could no longer look after her, however, that did not mean she would be any less protected, for they would put Ser Mervyn Flowers at her door every day to protect her.
Days passed, and he could not help but watch over the little girl from afar, ensuring she was at least living. He swore an oath and kept it until the end of their days.
The rumor spread like a drop of blood in water, there was movement and tension. His main mission was to protect the king. But he couldn't help but run away when they were told that the little queen was in agony, impaled to the spikes of the moat below her window. The king stayed inside his room, but the knight made it to the last moments of the life of that fearful little princess he had sworn to keep healthy.
The knight regrets having gone, for the look in her last moments of Jaehaera's life screamed in his soul “Traitor! You promised that you would keep me alive! That nothing bad would happen to me!”.
Willis Fell spends his last days of life, succumbing to the Winter Fever, thinking of the little princess who died along with his sacred oath.
Was trying to think of another time after "Blood & Cheese" when Jaehaera Targaryen had a role in the story until her child marriage to her cousin to end the conflict?
Sure, when she's helped to escape during the Fall of King's Landing, when Larys got Aegon II and his surviving kids out of the Red Keep and the city via the secret passages. (A small role, but thankfully not as tragic as her brother Maelor's.) Though Jaehaera was one of those targeted by Rhaenyra and her "knights inquisitor" bounty hunters, the Kingsguard Ser Willis Fell got her to Storm's End safely.
She was at Storm's End for about a year and a half, while Rhaenyra ruled in KL and also after Aegon and the greens retook the city. While the council debated what to do with their hostage Aegon the Younger, including the option of marrying him to Jaehaera, she was still with the Baratheons. After Aegon II's death and after the peace agreements, Jaehaera was escorted back to KL by Lady Elenda Baratheon's father and three of the Four Storms, and of course Willis Fell. (Who became Aegon III's Lord Commander since, uh, he and a rookie were the only Kingsguards left...) And then Jaehaera and Aegon married.
Now, if you're asking if they'll do more with her in the show, since Maelor doesn't exist... 🤷♀️ your guess is as good as mine.

Chapter Title: The Punishment
Chapter Summary: Cole finally lets Aemond leave his room but, by the time he's done, Aemond will wish he hadn't.
Nettles leaves forever, but Prince Daemon rides off to battle.
Many of the men who had survived the Battle on the Kingsroad had made their way back to Storm’s End afterward. Hungry, weary, wounded, they drifted home alone or in small groups, and Lord Borros Baratheon’s widow, the Lady Elenda, had only to look at them to realize they had lost their taste for battle. Nor did she wish to put her newborn son, Royce, at risk, for that little lord at her breast was the future of House Baratheon. Though it is said that her eldest daughter, the Lady Cassandra, wept bitter tears when she learned she was not to be a queen, Lady Elenda soon agreed to terms. Still weak from her labor, she could not come to the city herself for the coronation, she wrote, but she would send her own lord father to do homage in her stead, and three of her daughters to serve as hostages. They would be accompanied by Ser Willis Fell, together with his “precious charge”, the eight-year-old Princess Jaehaera, the last living child of King Aegon II and the new king’s bride-to-be.
