We are not using artificial intelligence any way in our game. Every art piece, illustration and pixel art, is drawn by our artists and actual people, so every illustration is "organic"! Our talented artists have also designed, consepted, drawn and animated every creature in our game. The game was also coded by our coders and designed by our game designers! Some of the pixel art background assets have been bought from other artists, some made by ourselves, but no AI has been used! ❌
In MiTale, we believe that art and games made by real people will always hold more meaning and feeling than anything made by AI. While AI is used more and more even in the game field, we're happy to deliver you a game that's created solely by our game devs own imagination. Stay strong, fellow Willow Guard!

Hi! Is the game available on console?
Hi there! So far we are still going through the possibilities of pushing Willow Guard on console. Currently it works on PC and Steam Deck, and hopefully we'll get it on console soon <3 Stay tuned!

Willow Guard is a hack-and-slash dark fantasy video game where you play as our badger hero, Ghweros! Mutated monsters have appeared and they are threatening the animals in Tersa. Defeat the monsters, solve puzzles and unlock the secrets of the world - and find out, why the Old Gods abandoned the animals.
Who is Ghweros?
That's a good question! Our mighty hero Ghweros can come out as a bit prude, silent wandered who prefers solitude, but he is a trusted friend to those close to him. Zarar pokes him mercilessy, but that is Zarar's speciality :P I like making Ghweros neurotic in my gameplays.
Abandoned asa cub and trained to be a willow guard from young age, Ghweros' world view is very set on the ways of the Willowguards. Double swords as his selected weapons, the monsters will fall in no time! 💪
One of the greatest things within our Willow Guard journey was to be a nominee for Game of the Year award in Finnish Game Awards 2026!
Among over hundred games published in Finland in 2025, we got to showcase our game on a big screen! Ghweros rarely likes attention, but I am certain he enjoyed this ⚔️
