ummmm okay technically its more of a fun fact than a headcanon as it is confirmed to be true by him HOWEVER i did headcanon it/noticed hints about it before that, but during the era when he wore the box on his head he was nonverbal in all of his communications with the box on!! including on tv and in meet and greets!!
