THE LAW OF SACRIFICE What do you desire to have and/or accomplish? What is that one thing that you constantly dream about in your sleep? WHAT DO YOU REALLY WANT? "The sacrifice that causes sorrow to the doer of the sacrifice is no sacrifice. Real sacrifice lightens the mind of the doer and gives him a sense of peace and joy. The Buddha gave up the pleasures of life because they had become painful to him." - Mahatma Ghandi Ask yourself, what are the things that brings joy and peace to my life? Take a minute to think about that..... Now, what will you do to get to that place? What sacrifices do you need to make. I'm not talking about the sacrifices that are so easy that you wouldn't get the full effect of why you gave that "thing" up. "Sacrifice, which is the passion of great souls, has never been the law of societies." - Henri Frederic Ameil If the sacrifice is not in the sight of approval to society, it's the appropriate sacrifice you need to make. There are moments that you have to do for you. And when that moment comes, you'll find out who is really in your corner. Everyone will not co-sign every single move you make. But, they should still be supportive, even if it's from a distance. When you reach that plateau, accomplish that goal, breathe in the air of joy and peace, you will look back at what you NEEDED to give up. Then, you'll understand why you did it, and you then be willing to do it again (if needed)! So, what will you SACRIFICE?
