Joseph grinned, proudly showing off the missing tooth. It had been loose anyway, so he was pretty happy the older kid had knocked that tooth out instead of any of his big-kid grownup teeth out.
“I got in a fight with a bigger kid. He knocked out my tooth. I gave him a black eye, then I kneed him in the privates and ran away just like my Uncle Speedy told me!”
The other boy was, he thought, around his age. Bigger than he was, but that wasn’t new. Jojo really wanted to play with him. It seemed like that would be fun, and he wanted to have fun.
“I’m Joseph Joestar. My friends call me Jojo. What’s your name? I wanna play tag. Or some other running-chasing game. Do you like runny chasy games? They’re my favorite!”

Various mythologies sometimes came alive, as a spirit agent it was up to him to determine if it was true or not, and if a spirit came out of it. He knows a few japanese ones were alive due to the people interest in them, and their belief as well. Having gone to Europe of all places to search for more myths that were alive, was annoying.

Joseph had truly lost his mind, hadn't he? "So I was correct to assume you had knocked something loose...," he mutters, albeit knowing that's not entirely it. He recalls clearly leaving the two 'friends' alive--well, the one, /now/. His point was proven, though, Joseph did remember that night. "So then you do remember /something/. Your lies are thin, JoJo! You have no grounds to stand on. I would be disappointed in your attempt were you not so dumb to begin with," he adds insult to injury.
