From @windofthestars's Instagram: For my current project I'm testing out @yayahan cupped corset pattern. While I've made quite a few corset/bustier type garments, all with plastic or zip tie boning, this is my first venture into steel boning. So I'm documenting the whole process and going give a big write up on how the patterned worked, my changes/hacks, and overall thoughts when I'm done. I feel like corsets with a good structure and support are intimidating so hopefully this will help break down that scary wall a bit. Let me know if you have specific question regarding the pattern and I'll be sure to address them! In the mean time here is a photo of my first corset type garment I ever made. Omg so many errors. Mel circa 2008 was still a nooblette. Photo by @darkain > http://ift.tt/24zuXeO

Effort was put into this one. I actually sat in a room with Mel (real name), took out of my phone to record voice and listened to her chat in a “real-conversation” format. Then I had to transcribe everything.
Oh yes, and I was homeless at the time.
