I often need to log in with a user’s domain account to make sure that I’ve set up their profile correctly, but there’s no easy way to do this other than to call them and give them a temp pass and force them to change it (bad, since they often forget it,) or ask for their password (worse.)

We have a shared iPad at work which is used for trade shows etc.

It is a pain to only be able to copy content to this from one PC, i.e. one nominated shared PC with iTunes on it. We have Windows XP on the PC currently.

Is there a decent way of plugging an iPad into an arbitrary PC and loading content on to it, while not breaking iTunes sync?

I have run out of space on my WinXP virtual machine, which I only gave 10 GB space for when I created it. Is there an easy way to increase it to, say, 20 GB? I can’t see any obvious option in VirtualBox settings.

Any game kills my sound

Every time I quit a game such as Braid, Fallout3, AVP all sound on the PC dies (Control Panel > No Audio Devices) I installed a new sound card (SB Audigy) and updated to the latest drivers, and it still happens.

It happens with Steam games and without.
