While the built-in Windows troubleshooter may seem too obvious and is often overlooked by many computer users, it actually works incredibly well in some instances. It’s the first step you should take before trying any more complicated techniques. Access the Windows performance troubleshooter by clicking on the ‘Start’ button and navigating to the Control Panel. Type ‘troubleshooter’ and select Troubleshooting. Under System and Security, you’ll find a feature called ‘check for performance issues.’
