Trying to understand the Bleach world structure is proving to be a hell of a headache. So if there are different soul societies, as shown in Burn the Witch, then are there different soul kings or royal guards? Does the eastern and western branch even know of one another? Do they have cultural exchanges? Would Ichigo be able to become a wizard, lol.
