“Sounds like fun! Can we go together?” she asked him, her eyes widening with excitement. Her mother shot her a warning glance. Lily nodded and looked down, her eyes filling up with tears. “T…that was rude of me, Zain. I am sorry." (lily & Zain)

Zain’s expression turned neutral, watching the exchange. He offered a bow, hoping to draw attention away from Princess Lily. “No, please excuse me for making an inappropriate suggestion, Your Highness.” He turned his attention to the queen, bowing his head again. “Your Majesty, my most sincere apology.” He straightened to find the queen’s eyes on him.

Joshua was pacing back and forth in his room, Lily was out and about in the manor. He need to find a nice place to propose to her they had been together for so long but he needed to find a place to do this. "Noble Michels Castle" he said out loud.

“Thank you, grand-father.” Princess Lily smiled at her grand-father and looked at Zain. “Shall we then?” (Zain & Lily)

"If you are finished eating, we could go out for a bit before retiring for the day," Zain agreed. "If there are no objections, of course," he addressed his words to the rest of the room. "There is currently a series of concerts playing in the park, if that is something that would interest you, Your Highness."

“W-well I’ve always wanted to see the ‘outside world’, grandfather.” She paused and leaned forward closer to Lord Michel, fearing the butler would hear. “You know perfectly why mother had kept me inside all these years.” She whispered. Queen Ariel’s eyes narrowed at her daughter and her father-in-law. King Akinori smiled and placed his hand on his wife’s shoulder. “She’ll be fine, Ariel. A little fresh air will not harm our daughter’s health.”

Zain was curious as to what King Akinori could be referring to but maintained quiet, moving only to refill Lord Michel’s cup.

"I’m sure Zain will be happy to accompany you on your outings," Lord Michel volunteered. Zain looked up to meet Princess Lily’s gaze and smiled, communicating his agreement. "Zain is very reliable," Lord Michel continued, speaking to Queen Ariel. "Lily couldn’t be in more capable hands."

"Thank you, sir," Zain bowed politely, a smile on his lips.

“Woah, woah! Slow down!” she giggled. “To answer your question Sir Lute, yes you all are my knights. My father doesn’t want me to tell people that I am the Lost Princess.”

The knights were surprised by her answer.

Gaia: "Pardon us for being rude, Your Highness."

Lute: "We would love to escort you to wherever you’re going."

Haku: "Yeah, we can’t just leave a lovely lady alone."

Shion: "I’ll pass."

Ken: "Shi, you’re also coming!"

She turned to him and smiled kindly. “I did. I look forward in continuing tomorrow. I am glad I have the chance to work with you, Zain.” (Zain & Lily)

"The honor was all mine, Your Highness," he bowed his head politely, a small smile on his lips.

Lord Michel smiled, pleased to hear his granddaughter working so well with Zain. He turned the conversation back to leisure when he asked what she intended to do with her free time. He couldn’t expect his dear granddaughter to spend all her time working.
