Same. I hadn't expected what the show gave me even in the first episode because of the ads and I was surprised it wasn't as much of a farce. It basically feels more like MacFarlane going 'I want to do Star Trek, but be able to make all the references and jokes I want without having to worry about HISTORY'. I mean, a friend walked in while I was watching an episode and was like 'wait... did they just reference Star Wars on Star Trek?' & had to explain it wasn't Trek.

I did the Dallas Fan Expo they had in the fall and just a warning that if they didn't learn anything from last time, the behind the booth space is tiny and a bunch of booths were impossible to get in and out of. A lot of vendors were talking of ditching the con because of the price hike and that con being 'slow' for a 'big' con.

its done by the same people who do Megacon in Orlando, and if it’s anything like Megacon, then a) It’s gunna turn out HUGE numbers in the spring, and b) They only just started doing Fan Days in the fall, so maybe thats what the attendance wasn’t great :/

Payback! :-D Even though I'm still working on my prompt list. And I have such a love of Storm's mohawk look. It is the best.

Payback is appreciated. :) I'm slow, it'll keep me going for a while, and I'm excited at all the ideas folks are giving me! Hopefully I can manage one or two things where the brain and hands work together.

The whole mohawk thing... I'm a child of the 80s, and seriously, that was the Storm I grew up with! For a long time, that was the only way Storm looked right to me.

I'm looking for someone who may have human characteristics most of the time, but is still very much other in mind, potentially with animalistic tendencies or instincts. So the shapeshifting could go either way, really, because if it's an animal who takes human form, they'll never act truly human. I'm looking for something where one form informs the other. Also something where the myth will inspire my brain to form some sort of plot! Because plot is my difficult thing and always fails. *sighs* Thanks!
