i feel like ben 10 is similar a lot to gravity falls in the ability to have cartoon goofs along with an actual narrative

oh yeah i dont think it was quite as sophisticated as gravity falls vis a vis the narrative arcs but like if there was an evolution chart for cartoons you can definitely place ben 10 closer to gf than to like, looney tunes
