Does your OC like telling stories to kids? How do they go about telling a story?Speaking of kids, what is your OC like around children in general?
This happens to be a particularly winning combination for Alyx. She is a great storyteller–really entertaining, funny, even if she is known to ramble a bit sometimes. She genuinely enjoys it, too, especially making people laugh. She’s really expressive both with her face and hands so she’s fun to watch as well as listen to. All of this goes double for kids. If she can get a child’s attention she wants to entertain them, whether that’s with an exciting story, a funny story, sometimes spooky stories… if needed, soft, pleasant stories to calm them down.
Alyx is great with children, overall, and she adores them. If they’re old enough to talk and interact with, she doesn’t baby them too much–she likes to speak to them like they’re actual people. She does the same with infants and nonverbal toddlers too but to a lesser extent. Basically what I’m getting at is she doesn’t do the high-pitched nonsense baby talk thing. At least not frequently. Sometimes the situation may call for it ;) Is she going to want to pick them up? Probably. Will she drop most things if asked to play with them? Likely.

Wanna jam?
If you ever manage to wrangle up some lingonberries, I cannot recommend this jam recipe enough. Yes it takes all day, but it´s super easy and the end product is bitchin´ good!
All you need is a big-ass pot, 3.5 litres of lingos, half a packet of sugar cubes and a kitchen tool of some sort to do the magic with.
(My “tool” is a handy little mallet thing my dad carved and if need be it could also be used as a weapon so no you can´t have it and you also better not sneak up on me while I do my jammin´ because just do NOT.)
Anyway, toss about half a kilo of sugar cubes into the pot...
... and give a little twirl so some of the lingos get mushed and you get a little bit of liquid - this helps the sugar cubes melting.
After the first twirl you can place the pot aside for about 8 hours, and do a little twirl once or twice an hour...
... and after 8 hours your pot has been turned into a pot of bright red gold.
Trust me: the sour taste of the lingos mixed with the sweetness of the sugars and the liquid... 😋
