Merry Christmas Eve and Happy one-year anniversary to Winter Fragments!

Happy holidays, everyone! I'm pleased to announce that I'm releasing a free(!) yuri visual novel, Winter Fragments, for the festive season! It's a cute, sweet VN about a couple of girls making an indie VN of their own, and I hope it warms your hearts! Since this VN is about a couple of students making a VN (in 2001, to be precise) I wanted Winter Fragments to have a deliberately doujin look to it: hence, the 800x600 resolution, the filtered photo BGs, and the stock music. I think it looks very charming, and I hope you all enjoy it! You can download the VN on itch.io here! ✩彡
I’ve been making more progress on my free yuri VN, Winter Fragments, which I’m hoping to release around Christmas! I hope you’re all looking forward to it! The VN is set in Japan in the early 2000s, and it’s about a couple of high school girls working on their own visual novel together. It’s a very cute, fluffy story with a doujin vibe, made at 800x600 res with filtered photo backgrounds and stock music. Please note, however, that while I’m describing this as a yuri story, there isn’t any explicit romantic content, like kissing. It’s apparent both of the lead characters have crushes on one another, but neither of them actually confesses. It’s a bit more ambiguous than some of my other yuri stories, so I apologise in advance if people don’t like that! In any case, I think this story is rather sweet: I hope you agree when you’re finally able to read it!
Working on a free yuri VN that I’m hoping to release on Christmas, yay \o/ It doesnt have a title yet because I’m awful at thinking up titles haha ;;; (Also, I wanted it to have a doujin feel, so it’s in 800x600 res and uses filtered photo BGs ;w;)
Nothing too exciting to see here: just sharing the UI for my upcoming yuri VN, Winter Fragments, because I think it’s very #aesthetic. I should be releasing the VN (for free!!!) in a couple of days! I hope you’re looking forward to it! ☆
You're releasing a Class S VN!? Whoooo! :D Seriously, complicated relationships or romantic friendships and stuff in between is underrated, really looking forward to seeing how this goes :)
I tend to make my yuri stories all very 'explicit': not necessarily in terms of sexual content, but in terms of them being very upfront about the fact that the two characters involved are a couple. I think this is the general preference among yuri fans, given the prevalence of class S stuff that provides a lot of hints as to a romantic relationship between female characters but doesn't want to fully commit, which I understand: this kind of wishy-washy 'representation' can be frustrating! I also tend to prefer the yuri stories I read to be more unambiguous. That being said, with Winter Fragments, the characters are quite young (they're both about 15~ish), and I wanted to present a story where neither character fully understands how they feel. They're still figuring things out! Part of me feels like I shouldn't even label Winter Fragments as yuri when there's no smooching, but both characters do very obviously have crushes on one another, even if there's no confession, so I think it still counts…? In any case, I thought it'd be nice to do something a bit different: I hope people like it!
