The Cable Connection was established by principals who have extensive experience in the wire rope business. The company supplies custom cable assemblies to customers throughout the United States, and its assemblies can be found in vehicles, airplanes, gymnasium equipment, weighing devices, medical equipment, robotics, appliances, buildings and many other applications.
In 1998, the company introduced the innovative Ultra-tec® line of stainless steel tensioning and mounting hardware designed especially for cable railings. The products met with immediate success and the Ultratec® line has subsequently become the preeminent line of its type in North America, with distribution from its warehouse in Nevada and through distributors located throughout the United States, UK, South America and in Mexico City.
Manufacturing facilities include state-of-the-art computerized lathes and mills and assembly operations in a modern up-to-date company owned facility built in 2006.
Michael S. Kechely, 50, Chairman and President. Founded the company in 1992 after serving 13 years in various production and general management positions in the wire rope industry.
Louis J. Marino, 63, Chief Executive Officer. Responsible for all company operations. Joined the company in 2010 after serving for 5years as Chief Operating Officer of the largest supplier of ornamental steel fencing systems and hardware in the United States. Prior experience included successful top management positions in electronics, wire and cable, and automotive parts industries.
