You weren't kidding when you said you look like shit. You're in your pajama shorts and a loose t-shirt and your hair is tied up very messily. Your eyes are red and your cheeks stained from crying. You do your best to wipe off your face before you get up.

You check on your boyfriend very briefly. He's still asleep, and you know you unexpectedly left without warning once, but you hope he doesn't mind. You'll explain it all later, you suppose.

After grabbing your phone, you go into the room with the transportalizer, hit in the coordinates, and zap off.

Once again, you find yourself in Sollux's hive. You make your way to Dave's room, expecting him to be with Dirk. You just wrap your arms around your stomach and stay silent.

>When you see Dave lying limp on the floor, you immediately tense up. You're scared and you're worried. But Dirk is over to him faster than you are and you relax a little bit. You know that he'll take care of Dave.

Of course, you want to know how badly hurt he is. You're beyond worried, and you want to make sure he's okay more than anything.

But you feel out of place. You feel like you're not supposed to be here, or that you don't belong here. In fact, you didn't even really do anything to help. It was all Dirk and Karkat, really. So, truthfully, you're not needed.

You smile just a little bit when Dirk picks Dave up. Yeah, you're sure they're both going to be fine. You decide not to say anything to them, and turn to leave.

Dave said he was hungry, so of course you've got to get up and get him some food. Normally, you wouldn't mind, but you're a bit preoccupied being stressed out about other things going on in your life. But you do it anyway because honestly, you're kind of relieved. You know he's had trouble with eating, so the fact that he asked you to get him food actually makes you happy. And so you oblige.

The first thing you do is go down and leave your apartment building. Never mind the fact that you're in your pajama shorts, you don't want to keep Dave waiting too long. You don't take your car because it's actually slower than walking on the city streets. You wander around for a bit until you find a small restaurant. You go in and buy some of that grilled chicken that he wanted. And since you were kinda hungry yourself, you bought some potato wedges on the side, along with a couple of water bottles just in case.

You grab the food to-go and head back to your apartment. Once you're back, you punch in his coordinates into your transportalizer, and step off.

You're familiar with Sollux's hive now, and go straight into Dave's room. You greet him with a small smile.

"Hey. I got you some food."

You're seeing Dave. And not just any Dave, but your Dave. The Dave from your timeline. The one you abandoned and then searched for and then found by some kind of miracle.

You grab some first aid stuff along with the rest of your things before punching in the coordinates he sent you. You check one last time to see if you have everything before stepping onto the pad and zapping off.

You find yourself in the alien hive. You would've looked around a bit if you had the time but you had to find Dave. You try calling out for him.

"Dave?"
