Wispbusters WIP by Arkus0

Here is what I'm working on for Halloween this year, another Wispbusters pic featuring my Furgemancs's character Lullaby the Thylacine, SaturnGrl's Chloe the Assembler in chibi head form and my character Ruby who has just had a run in with a particular Hover Wisp. The idea is the scene is re-inacting a scene from the Ghostbusters movie, can you guess which one? I'll be making a start on inking and colouring this soon so look forward to that. Wisp Trapper Rose by Arkus0

This is a gift pic for my friend SaturnGrl's Birthday, her character Rose the Weaver as a Wispbuster. specifically in charge of Traps which she is an expert in. Originally was going to give her a Proton Pack like the other girls but then I realised that her spider arms and rear would get in the way, maybe she wields the Proton Pistol from Extreme Ghostbusters? Joining her is someone I've wanted to do since the first Wispbusters pic, Rhymer the Hover Wisp, a friendly Wisp companion helping the team stop his corrupted brethren from destroying the city. You can probably tell he's obviously based on Slimer. Anyway Happy Birthday SaturnGrl

New Wispbusters - FINAL by Arkus0

"The Egg Army has unleashed a swarm of Nega Wisps into Metal City Zone to weaken it's defenses ready for conquest. The aggressive Wisps spread chaos by randomly possessing civilians and transforming them; Purple Frenzies chomped on vehicles, Black Bombs blew up the roads and Violet Voids consumed buildings, those that didn't get possessed are either hiding or have evacuated the city. Not even the heroes of the city, Team Eclipse and their friends were spared as Umbra, Lunas, Magnus, Stryke, Pogo and Burst were turned into Wisp Creatures. With Wisps plaguing the Neighbourhood, Who You Gonna Call? Fortunately there is still Ruby, Chloe, Lullaby, Lindsey, Rose and a crippled Rej who was heavily damaged in the initial attack. Rej has dealt with Nega Wisps in the past during one of his solo adventures, but in his crippled state he must now share the technology he used back then with the rest of the team to go into the field; Handheld meters to track Hyper Go-On Energy signatures (HGE Meters), Packs and Blasters designed to safely extract Wisps from a victim and weaken it for a Trap device to contain it, where it will then be placed in a Wisp Restoration Chamber to change the Nega Wisp back into a normal benevolent Wisp. With him staying behind in Team Eclipse HQ as Mission control and Rose to protect him, its up to Ruby, Chloe, Lullaby and Lindsey to suit up and go bust some Wisps to save their friends and the city"

Thanks everyone for their comments and help during the progress of this pic, it was one of my biggest projects and well worth it. I doubt I'll be doing anything this big for a while. If my friends would also like individual pics of their characters let me know.

New Wispbusters WIP Sketches by Arkus0

I couldn't resist wanting to show you what I'm currently working on. Ever since the first trailer for the new Ghostbusters movie came out I got hit with a lot of nostalgia (Mostly for the Real Ghostbusters cartoon) and wanting to do some art related to the Ghostbusters. Consider this new project a sequel staring my own Ruby the Vixen plus other characters belonging to my friends in the Sonic community.

The sketches here are WIP and I will be making some adjustments before I'm satisfied, mostly fine tuning the expressions, neatening up some lines, deciding what design Proton Pack to use, etc, but to my friends if you feel like I'm missing any details from your characters or wish me to make some alterations please let me know. I've still got plenty more to sketch like the background and some Wisps so wish me luck with this.
