Hi! I thought I would show my face today. It's a little out of my comfort zone, but here I am. I would like to know more about you too! A few things about me: 1) I started making mushroom lights because I had an old charger laying around collecting dust. I wanted to make a night light with it, and I came across bioluminescent mushrooms. They inspired me to make a mushroom nightlight four years ago. It's still on every night. I got hooked and now I make mushroom lights all the time. 2) I'm bad at selfies, I mean, just look at it. 3) I have about one day a week in which to make my lights. The rest of the time I'm raising my kids. 4) I'm planning on a whole range of 'living lights,' not just mushrooms. Plants, flowers, animals.. 5) I generally have way too many plans. 6) The Wisp Lights are extremely labour intensive, which is the kind of art I somehow always end up with. Never something easy and quick, always something complicated and extremely time consuming. 7) I have about 60-70 plants which I all collected last year. Before that I had three, at most. #wisplights #meetthemaker #makerspace #maker #artistsofinstagram #artist #sculptor #bioluminescence #bioluminescent #fungi #paddestoel #pilz #mushrooms #lightart #visualart #botanical #botanisch #urbanjungle #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantlover #crazyplantlady #artistsoninstagram #kunst #mushroomart #mosslovemovement #makers #modernmaker #makersmovement #meettheartist
