A sequel is in the works which is going to be a crossover with BBC Sherlock (and which I’ve been wanting to write ever since I watched DBDA for the first time ...). More stories in my Wispy-Verse are planned, too. So stay tuned.
Illustration for the third and final chapter of my Payneland fic The Great Lambada Craze of ’89 (and ’24). The fic is complete now, but this last chapter will probably get another illustration. Also, there is going to be at least one more story in this verse (probably more).
Illustrations for the first eight chapters (of nine) of my Payneland fic The Case of the Stolen Barrow, in which the boys with the help of Crystal and the Wee Free Men (GNU Terry Pratchett) attempt to bring back Niko from the Neitherlands – while figuring out some other stuff in the meantime ...
Chapter 8 has just been posted. I hope to finish this story next month. A sequel is currently being plotted which will be a crossover with BBC Sherlock. I also have plans for more installments in my DBDA Wispy-verse series – and to finish my Sherlock WIPs.

Your favorite character to write this year?
I love writing from Charles Rowland’s point of view, and I also love writing Crystal and Edwin. And my OC Wispy the will-o’-the-wips from my Wispy-Verse series of fics is fun, even though it can’t even talk.
The character that gave you the most trouble writing this year?
Not sure there is one, to be honest.
What’s one pairing you want to explore next year?
Not really a pairing, but I look forward to mixing the characters from BBC Sherlock with those from Dead Boy Detectives in my fic A Study in Living, the third chapter of which is currently in the works.

Thanks a lot. The fic will be based on my drawing for the Besotted DBDA Fanzine. The art is still embargoed, but I hope to post it soon.
The fic is going to be the fourth in my Wispy-Verse series in which the boys acquire a will-o’-the-wisp as mix of new agency associate and pet. I’m currently working on fic #3, Fantasia. The fourth fic will have the boys helping a kelpie that haunts the Thames while continuing to explore their recently changed relationship and other things addressed in the series. There will also be stuff about Niko and Crystal. The fic will be from Charles’s point of view again (fics #1 and #3 in the series are from Edwin’s, and #2 from Charles’s).
