Alright I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up, but there may be some witch!loki art coming today...
Loki is the exception. He is always the exception. Clever little witch sneaks in over the borders and even though Thor can already see Steve’s tired eye-roll hear the rote recitation of Thor’s punishment, he can’t stop.
Something about Loki’s smell always draws him in and makes him feel a little high. This pretty, mischievous, ruthless witch that he’s known since he was a boy; that he’s seen create explosions out of words and heal deadly wounds with the flick of a finger can always work his way past Thor’s natural defenses.
No one understands it. Wanting to return to family after being turned is natural, and many wolves do go back home when the full moon is far off, but Thor’s never had to leave the pack. Loki comes to him, enters his den and says such sweet things, calls him brother, then sinks down on him and allows Thor take what he wants.
Nothing else satisfies him but Loki’s body. His blood lusts are tempered when he can sink himself deep and taste his brother’s pleasure, lick up Loki’s sweat and make the whole den smell like sex.
Every morning Loki’s gone when Thor wakes, so he’s surprised when the sun hits his skin and Loki is still in his arms. He buries his nose in Loki’s hair and feels peace settle in his heart.
“Are you staying?” Thor asks.
Loki makes a noise in his sleep, shifts to lay even closer, then goes quiet again. Even if Loki goes, Thor knows he’ll come back. They’re soulmates.
The Witch’s Promise - Thorki Big Bang 2018 - 26,6k story: @thorkified - art: @led-lite - written for @thorkibigbang
Thor, a huntsman on a quest to save his sister, came to the witch Loki when a curse threatened to kill him. Now, as a price for removing the curse, the witch owns his life. What Loki did not expect is to begin to care for Thor and when Thor’s life is once more in danger, Loki is willing to save him with his magic, but the price he pays is nearly too much. For reasons Loki cannot explain, he survives, but why he is willing to risk so much for a human he barely knows?
It’s only when Thor says something very familiar about his own sister that Loki finally makes the connection between the huntsman and himself. Now, everything will be put on the line when he comes to Thor's aid. When the truth is finally revealed, Loki will have to make a choice that will change the world as he knows it forever and that will affect not only him, but the huntsman and his sister too.
Here it is, after all this time, the sequel to my fic A Life For A Life. A special thanks to @led-lite for the amazing art for this fic (definitely check out the full picture because it’s really incredible and perfectly fits into the story and mood!) It was wonderful working with you and I’m very happy how it all turned out.
Witch!Loki 😊
What do you think of witch!Loki with Familiar!Thor? Would Thor need to protect Loki a lot? (is Thor possessive?)
So, I think I love it a lot.
I imagine familiar Thor would be very protective and very possessive. I think he’d be the one who attached himself to Loki, not the other way around. Loki is strictly chaotic neutral as a magic user, working only for his own gain, and Thor thinks he could be so much more, could do so much more with his power. So Thor decided to appoint himself as Loki’s familiar and guardian.
Loki was fine being a lone witch. He didn’t need a familiar. He sneered at witches who had them. Their magic didn’t seem to be any stronger and they were stuck with someone else to take care of. Loki couldn’t see the point.
Then Thor found him and just kept following him, determined that Loki was his and Loki still doesn’t see the point.
Since I imagine Thor’s animal shape is of a big, sandy colored dog-wolf hybrid type thing, Loki spends a lot of time yelling at this dog and appearing completely mad to people who see him. Thor also likes to lay his head in Loki’s lap and look up at him with soulful big eyes - usually when he’s in his animal form, but he’s not against doing it in human form either.
Chapter 3, Union
chapter 3 is up eyyy
Loki was reluctant to wander this deep in the forest. The creatures here grew taller than the trees, towering with such height and power that only the most skilled witches dared to come this far.
He knelt beside a tree trunk and carefully cut away shimmering gold mushrooms. There, done, he had everything he needed for his potion.
Loki rose and turned, and froze in his spot, knife still clutched in his fingers. A dragon. Of course. Oh, of all the creatures he could run into, it would be a fucking dragon. Here, with neither gold nor sweet leaf to ply the beast. Maybe there was mint in his pack? It wasn’t sweet leaf, but it could work.
The dragon tilted its head and looked him down with bright blue eyes, gold scales glittering as they caught the mottled sunlight pouring down through the canopy above. Wait.
“Thor?” Loki took a step forward and yes, yes, this had to be Thor.
The dragon nodded slowly, then his lips lifted in a toothy grin and a thunderous roar filled the air. Loki never thought he would see Thor again. He witnessed, helpless when the spear pierced Thor’s heart, he saw Thor fall from the sky, and it felt like so long ago that all the light in his life had gone out when Thor left.
But he hadn’t.
Loki reached out and placed his hand on Thor’s nose. He was bigger now, a proud example of his kind.
“How?” Loki asked.
Thor pushed up from the ground until Loki’s hand could no longer reach him, and underneath Loki saw the place where Thor had been run through. One of his scales was cracked, slowly healing but there was still tender skin visible beneath. Loki walked under Thor’s body and reached up to feel that place. The skin was so hot it almost hurt to touch, but he had to feel, to see with his eyes and his magic that Thor had survived, that Thor was returning to him.
This was better than Loki could have hoped. Their bond was still alive. Faint, nearly broken from time and distance, but still alive.
Loki leaned into the threads that tied them together and forged every knot anew. Thor made pleased little hums above him as they were reconnected. The original ceremony had taken hours, but Loki finished within minutes. His soul knew Thor’s. He had been dreaming of this for years.
He walked back out from under Thor’s body and opened his arms. Thor pressed his head into Loki’s front and nuzzled into him like a puppy just like he had back when Loki saved him so long ago.
A slow, gentle thought trickled into his mind like rain, their bond already strong enough to hear each other’s thoughts.
Thor’s voice filled his head and his heart, a constant chant like a beloved hymn.
Home
Loki nodded and pressed a kiss to one of Thor’s scales. “Yes, Thor. Home.”

“How do you do that?” The tiny voice broke Loki out of his concentration and the green billow weavering around him dissolved. He turned around and raised his head, a smile on his lips. Hel had just woken up apparently, her hair was still messy and uncombed and Thor was nowhere to be seen, indicating the huntsman was still peacefully out.
“Do you want me to show you?” he asked, earning an eager not. She stepped into the circle Loki sat in and when he patted on the ground in front of him she sat down. “You can do this too, you know. All you need to do is practice.”
“Because I’m like you, am I right?” Hel beamed up at Loki with her green and red eyes, earning another soft smile.
